Cranberry sausage rolls make a tasty treat any time! If you want, you can add 50g crumbled blue cheese or brie for a festive variation too.

Ingredients
- 375g sausage meat
- 4 tablespoons cranberry sauce
- 1 sheet ready-rolled puff pastry
- 1 egg, beaten
How to make
- Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan). Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Unroll the pastry and cut it lengthways into two strips.
- Divide the sausage meat into two long logs and place one down the centre of each strip.
- Make a shallow channel along the top of the sausage meat and spoon cranberry sauce into it.
- Brush one edge of the pastry with beaten egg.
- Fold the pastry over the sausage meat and seal.
- Turn seam-side down and cut into 4 to 5 pieces per roll.
- Place on the lined baking tray, brush with egg, and score lightly with a knife.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden and cooked through.
