Get fresh bread in just 40 minutes with this simple recipe. Enjoy it warm from the oven with butter and jam (or however you like!)

Ingredients
- 175g plain flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
- 1/2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or white wine vinegar
- 100ml milk (dairy or plant-based)

- wooden spoon

- baking paper

How to make
- Preheat the oven to 200°C
- Put baking paper on a baking tray and dust with flour
- Put dry ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix together
- Mix wet and dry ingredients together to form a dough.
- Shape two dough balls and place them on the baking tray.
- Cut crosses into the tops.
- Bake in the oven for 25 minutes.
